Today I woke up to a call with the tragic news that my good friend and pinball league partner, Marissa Williams, suddenly passed away! I am still in shock and in disbelief that my amazing friend won’t be playing pinball with me each week! I feel like our friendship was just getting started, but even in a short time we had a lot of amazing memories together that I will always cherish! I could not have asked for a better pinball league partner, we were just so in sync and always had a great time together, and we kicked some butt! We both helped start the Ladies of the Lounge at the pinball lounge, to throw fun themed parties and ladies pinball tournaments, and to bring everyone together for a fun event! We were about to have our second event this coming Saturday
The last I saw her was Wednesday as we did amazing in league and then made a promo video for our event, and she was so happy and full of life that night! Who would have ever thought this was the last time I would see my amazing friend! Today our pinball league family came together as one team and celebrated her life! In her honor and memory, we played for favorite games and all the Williams machines, toasted her with a few drinks, shared our fondest memories of her, and shared a lot of tears and hugs! It was truly special to see the huge out pouring of love with everyone that showed up, with little notice, to celebrate her! She was loved and will be forever missed! Hug your loved ones and tell them you love them, because you never truly know when things like this could happen! Please keep her friends and family in your thoughts and prayers! RIP my beautiful friend!
